Infinite roadmap canvas
Pan, zoom and arrange work spatially. Sketch freehand on top, expand epics into subtasks only where you need detail.
Project management for teams that plan visually
Planic puts your roadmap whiteboard and your kanban board on one set of tasks. Draw an arrow and you've declared a real dependency. Move a card and the roadmap moves with it. And your AI agents can run the whole thing over MCP.

Every team plans on a whiteboard, then retypes the plan into a ticket tracker. Two systems, one truth — and three weeks later the whiteboard is a picture of a plan nobody follows.
Features
Pan, zoom and arrange work spatially. Sketch freehand on top, expand epics into subtasks only where you need detail.
Free-form columns with their own colours and workflow category. Drag a card here and it updates on the canvas instantly.
Draw an arrow to declare a blocker. Blocked and ready states are computed for you — even across projects.
Edits apply instantly and sync live over WebSockets, so everyone looks at the same board.
Discuss work on the task itself, @mention teammates, and get notified when you are assigned or mentioned.
Find anything across teams in one search. Filter the board by assignee, priority or due date, and see everything on your plate.
Viewers, editors and admins per team. Viewers can still comment — stakeholders stay in the loop without breaking the plan.
Windows, macOS and Linux apps alongside the web app. Dark and light themes included.
Built for AI agents
Planic ships an MCP server with around 30 tools. Your Claude Code or Cursor session can read the board, file tasks, move cards, link dependencies and leave comments — and the task shows up on the whiteboard, in the right place, for everyone.

Drop cards on the canvas and draw arrows between them. That is your roadmap and your dependency graph.
Switch to kanban. Same cards, now in columns. Blocked work is flagged automatically.
Connect Claude Code or any MCP client. It files, updates and comments — clearly marked as agent work.

Those tools are a list or a board. Teams plan somewhere else — Miro, FigJam, a whiteboard — then retype the plan into tickets, and the two drift apart within weeks. In Planic the roadmap canvas and the kanban board are two views of the same tasks, so there is nothing to sync and nothing to drift.
Yes. Drawing an arrow between two cards creates a "blocks" relationship. Blocked and ready states are computed from it, it shows on the board, and it works across projects in the same product.
Planic ships an MCP server. Create a personal access token in Settings → Connect AI, add the server to your MCP client, and your agent can read the board, file tasks, move cards and comment. Everything an agent does is labelled as agent activity, so you can always tell it apart from what a person did.
A token acts with its owner's team role, so a token created by a viewer is read-only. Tokens can be given an expiry and revoked at any time from Settings.
Yes — native apps for Windows, macOS and Linux, plus the web app. Mobile is on the roadmap.
Planic runs on servers in the EU. You can remove members, revoke tokens and delete projects at any time.
